Cafe Jackalope is now open on Bristol’s buzzing Gloucester Road, serving up a great cafe experience on the long stretch of independent shops, cafes and restaurants.
In case you're wondering, a jackalope is the stuff of North American folklore, a nature-defying cross between the jack rabbit and antelope. It's also one of the many nicknames of owner, Jacquelyn Booth.
Proud to be supporting local businesses, our immense, silky smooth coffee is roasted at Extract – just down the road – our bread from Joe's Bakery on G-road, and our delicious cakes are homemade by local, independent cake bakers.
We showcase local artist's work on our walls and sell their prints so you can take home your own. We also sell homemade jewellery and cards, lovingly made by local artists.
Jac's popular light brunch menu featuring the holy trinity of brunch foods – smashed avocado, halloumi and chorizo – is always a crowd pleaser.
So swing by, and take a pew in our warren of rooms.
There’s a light, bright space to work and chat, a cosy ‘snug’ room to read a book while snuggled in an armchair, a secluded booth for furtive discussion, and a games room for kiddies, young and old.
When the sun's out, venture into our small secret garden where we grow herbs and tomatoes for our fresh salads and wraps.
For those on special diets, we have vegan and gluten free options, as well as soya and almond milks.
